As we wrap up the month of August (which is absolutely crazy because I feel like summer just began), I realized there were certain products I’ve been collecting for in-between seasons. The struggle is real when it comes to dressing for a hot afternoon but a chill, crisp morning. So in typical blogger fashion, I’ll be sharing what to wear between summer and fall. With fall only a few weeks away now, these items are sure to live on well beyond September!

Bucket Bag

Make way for the one of the it bags of the season. As we all know, fashion recycles itself and we have come full circle on the quintessential bucket bag. The bag has been trending for a few seasons now but it’s shown up with new updates. Take for instance, the embroidered horses and draw string pouch inside this Chloe Bucket. With the recent popularity of shoulder bags and fanny packs, I think it makes total sense for the bucket bag to stick around through the season.

Mules

I have always been a shoe girl but this past month I was completely and irrevocably obsessed with everything footwear. Specifically, I could not get enough of mules with architectural details. As you guys and probably tell, I’m obsessed with any sort of unique design you typically do not see in a standard shoe. I have been wearing these & Other Stories mules quite frequently. The square toe and asymmetrical foot strap makes such a statement – and is the perfect update for fall.

Utility Details

I love joggers as much as I love a good trouser – one is casual while the other is structured. So what happens when you combine the two? Stunningly tapered twill pant with military detailing, i.e. these Chloe pants that go with everything. Utility and military accents are going to be key details for fall. Luckily, you can get your taste of it with now with light-weight pants and jackets paired with ideal summer pieces.

Stripe Top

Stripes are usually a thing of spring and summer, but fall will be bringing us an influx of it. This stripe deconstructed top is ideal for the first portion of the season since you can easily tuck it into pants and skirt. But, you’ll eventually see stripes in the form of knits and cardis in rustier colors. For a fun style tip, pair your stripes with something printed.
