We still have several weeks of summer left and fashion week to come, but I am already stuck on how I can transition my wardrobe into fall. I swear this is both the blessing and curse of fashion. Though most people start by switching up their outerwear and footwear, I’m satiating my fall cravings with handbags. Honestly, I’d feel like I’m robbing summer of its glory if I started strutting around in boots and all. A handbag is the safest best for ensuring foolproof transitional wear without going overboard. Plus, it’s the best accessory for bringing forth fall’s best trends. If I’ve sold you on why you need a bag update now, scroll on to find out what trendy handbags are in this fall.
Colorful Bag
Fall’s easiest bag update comes with a simple change of color. The ones on my radar are bordeaux (oxblood, auburgine or just a burgundy/maroon), hunter green, cognac (that rich, orangey-brown color), and blue. Hence the oxblood Coach Bag. I’m obsessed with the gold rivet details that make it extra luxe for fall. You bet I’m already pairing this little number with current summer outfits.
Belt Bag
If you’ve been on the fence about the belt bag, chances are it’s finally coming around to you with all the “it” girls styling it in super cool ways on Insta. Well, the bag isn’t going anywhere just yet so get your dose of a hot fall fashion piece now.
Beaded Bag
Never say never when it comes to fashion. I never thought I’d be lugging around a beaded bag, but this Shrimps one got me feeling some kind of way. It’s considered the “it” bag of summer, but I’m wagering on it sticking around through fall.
Shearling Bag
Fall is all about cool textures everywhere, meaning means fur is no longer exclusive to coats. Be ready to welcome fur accessories with arms wide open. They make excellent hand warmers or for sleeping on when you’re constantly on the run.
Logo Bag
Logomania has permanently placed its stakes in the fashion world. Whether you’re a Balenciaga fiend, kind of like me, or still on that Gucci train, there’s no shying away from wearing it loud and proud. Logos emblazoned across your bag are no longer a thing of the past. They’re back and cooler than ever.
What are your favorite trendy bags this upcoming season?
