Had the greatest opportunity to go to Beijing with W hotels and my best friend, Dani song. We had the most incredible time with the w hotels crew and media from all over the world. We got hooked up with the BEST room with a tub in the middle of it! After a very long flight, I walked into THIS and screamed! I was SO ecstatic and happy to be there!
The first night, we attended the #rocktheempire event at W Beijing- Chang’an – they had an amazing fashion show showcased by a local designer, a performance by Dita Von Teese and a rockin’ set by The dolls! Beijing sure knows how to party! After the show, Kitsune played a kick ass set at the X25 club at the 25th floor of the hotel – Def worth checking out if you end up in Beijing!
Dani and I also had an amazing time touring the city together along with W hotels. We had the chance to visit the Arts district and check out a number of incredible galleries from local artists and designers. We also stopped by Cafe LAS and had the best vanilla smoothie. Yum !
On our last day, we visited the forbidden city and the Great Wall with W hotels ! What an amazing experience! I was amazed by the amount of people that were lined up to see the beautiful city.
The Great Wall was the greatest experience of them all- Before the long hike up the W had a beautiful set up of champagne and food for us – Can anyone else say they had champagne at the Great wall?! haha. We had a group of PR and marketing directors from W hotels as well as magazine editors with us on the trip and OF COURSE everyone was dressed up at all times. LOVED IT. We were all decked out in designer and nice shoes at the Great Wall so our photos would look perfect! I was in my favorite Carlo Pazolini booties (SOLD OUT 🙁 ) which are extremely comfortable, but I suggest wearing sneakers if you plan on hiking the Wall.
