Fashion month is now in full swing and I couldn’t be more excited for Paris Fashion Week. You guys might remember from my Instagram that I was actually in Paris a few weeks ago and it was then that I really indulged in the cafe scene. I am obsessed with cafes because they’re some of the best places to chill, work, and eat all at the same time. Plus, coffee is one of the few things I always start my day with. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I wanted to round up some of the must-visit cafes in Paris I’ll definitely be going back to during this upcoming trip.
Cafe de Flore
Cafe de Flore is super popular among fashion bloggers and I have to admit that it’s also a personal favorite. It’s conveniently situated in one of my favorite neighborhoods, St. Germain, and captures that historic charm intrinsic to Paris (I love people watching here). It’s also one of the oldest cafes in Paris with delicious coffee and small bites.
Fragments
Fragments is in Le Marais, another photogenic neighborhood I adore with great shopping. This cafe is small but packed with character and is great for hanging out. I love how simple the menu is, offering only the essentials such as espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes – all of which are served with single or double shot.
Le Procope
This cafe is the oldest in Paris and is worth visiting for that reason alone. The vibe and food is very Parisian and takes you back in time. On the top floor, they even have a little museum you can explore.
Cafe Charlot
Also in Le Maris is Cafe Charlot, my favorite to go to especially at night. It’s where all the cool fashion people hang out. Not only can you get cafe classics such as croissant and coffee but it’s also great to enjoy a glass of wine. This is the kind of cafe I’d imagine hanging out at if I lived in Paris.
Les Deux Magots
Les Deux Magots is another go-to in Saint Germain. It’s popular among tourists since it’s another historical cafe but I love the location and the vibe, which is just great to relax and people watch. The outside seating at the storefront is the best!
Angelina
I’ve been to Angelina countless times before and the French elegance always brings me back in. If you have a sweet tooth, I can’t recommend Angelina enough. This cafe is great for coffee and non-coffee drinkers alike. The hot chocolate is to die for and the coffee flavor is just amazing.
Cafe Kitsune
Cafe Kitsune is a hip, trendy spot that’s always worth checking out in Paris. They serve up some of the tastiest cups of coffee and small cakes. It can be hard to find since it’s so small and it also gets crammed easily.
Drop your favorites in the comments section so I can check them out when I’m in Paris.
