As most of you know by know, I have been shifting my blog from strictly fashion to sharing about my lifestyle and travels with fashion still at the center. I love sharing photos that capture the ambiance and space of my travel destinations. Travel inspires me creatively and (I hope) by sharing these photos I have completed by duty by inspiring you all to truly live, travel, and appreciate ALL the beauty the world has to offer. With that being said, I stayed at the Two Bunch Palms Resort in Palm Springs earlier this month. Where do I even start with this resort?! I felt as if I had been transported to the tropical paradise of Bali, Indonesia while being in Palm Springs. How? Mind blown. The Two Bunch Palms is a resort and spa that focuses on the wellness of it’s guests but also the wellness of our planet. They are extremely sustainable, and take pride in operating in harmony with their environment. They are the first carbon-neutral resort in America with their solar panel field, and one of their main attractions is their natural mineral springs which descend from Miracle Hill (who’s waters have been flowing for more than 600 years). It is safe to say, I had the most relaxing and rejuvenating stay at the Two Bunch Palms Resort this past weekend.
Although, I am shifting the blog into a new lifestyle direction, fashion will always be the epicenter of my heart. (So, don’t think that it will not be involved in my future posts!) With that being said, to create the look of my sun-embracing poolside vibes, I paired a light-weight white top from Nice Martin with my black Solid and Stripes bathing suit bottoms. I accessorized this simple look with my bold Laura Lombardi earrings (from Frankie Shop), my structured black Lack of Colour rimmed hat, my retro State Optical sunnies (that are currently my summer ’17 fave), and my slides from Everlane. When I wasn’t vibing at the the natural mineral pool, I was exploring the rest of the resort with Cibelle Levi (my amaze photographer friend). This daytime ensemble consisted of my mid-length to maxi dress from Madiyah Al Sharqi that naturally looked like I had layered it while being only one dress. Stayed very cool in the desert. Winning. I paired this flowy dress with my geometric shaped Elizabeth Cole earrings, my dainty Smoke x Mirrors sunglasses, my go-to chloe backpack that I always am sure to pack when traveling, and the most comfortable shoes from Via Spiga that I am always wearing.
It was so refreshing to immerse myself in a resort that prioritizes maintaining the earth, and the wellness of their guests from the inside and out. It was truly an experience to be only 2 hours from Los Angeles, but feeling as if I was halfway across the world on some remote tropical island.
