Hair can hold different meaning to each and every one of you. To me, my hair is a symbol that is intertwined to the things I am willing to do to constantly push the envelope on in regards to all scopes of my life – fashion, creativity, travels, new beginnings, etc.
Recently, I decided to make a change, and chop my hair off! I was honestly in a bit of a creative funk, and was craving something new. My hair truly makes me feel confident, and the moment I changed my hair I felt as if a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. Literally. I was ready to take on the world with a new (and more creative) perspective! With that new perspective, I realized that my body thrives from change. I wasn’t going to stop at just cutting my hair. I decided to make a change, and buy a condo on the Westside. Buying something is a HUGE commitment. Also, If you know me, you know I love my family. They all live in the Eastside, and being further away from them (AND ALONE) terrified me. I am a firm believer that your mentality towards anything that is daunting is a key factor to your success in overcoming it. It is okay to sit in the uncomfortable. Once you become comfortable in the uncomfortable, it no longer is an uncomfortable situation. With the new perspective on the world, I am pushing into my limits and breaking all boundaries that were “uncomfortable” to me. I have shifted my mentality, and I have been immediately improving my levels of productivity, attracting things that I wanted, and most importantly – I have never felt more like my true self! It all started with one little change that ended up changing my life, and continuing to change my life. Change is good. Never think otherwise!
When I heard more details about the project Herbal Essences was launching I was ecstatic. I am always open to changing things up as a way to constantly shift perspective, and live my life to the fullest. I started using their Arabica Coffee Fruit shampoo and conditioner, and let me tell you: I AM IN LOVE. To start, it smells like the fall! It has a sort of a layered smell that consists of berries infused with a caramel latte that meets a minty patchouli scent.
Who knew that deciding to change my hair, and chop it off would really make a difference in my life. Now changing it up to this shampoo and conditioner, my hair has never maintained this much volume while staying so soft! It is the little wins in life, guys. In celebration of embracing change, Herbal Essences created this video that features amazing hair transformation stories, and all that comes with change! Watch here!
