Transitioning A Summer Romper into the Next Season

With the season changing, it is important to stretch out the wear time of your clothes throughout as many seasons as possible. Once the summer is over, you would think you need to retire your rompers until the spring, but with this hack, you can “fall” it up, and wear it through the next season. I am ALLLLL about wearing the same pieces of clothing with a new twist or perspective on them. I loved wearing my mesh top under my Isabel Marant dress (blog post here). With this black structured romper from Chloe, I layered this oversized and sheer white blouse that I also got from Chloe (whoops… love them too much!) under the romper. I am obsessed with the classy-gal-chic details on the ruffles and the wrists of the blouse. I dressed up this outfit with my dear frances boots that I will be wearing all fall along with my state optical sunglasses. You can elevate and transition any romper or piece of clothing if you really put your mind to it! Layering and maintaining an open mind is KEY!
