With October in the air, boot season has officially arrived. I shared these Yeezy boots a week ago on my Instagram stories and finally broke them in over the weekend – and they are amazing! I love the wider shaft that naturally slouches – that makes it perfect for tucking pants away when it’s uber cold. It really gives off that cool, effortless vibe I’m constantly after. Anyway, wearing these boots made me realize that I haven’t shared my favorite boot trends of the season even though I have already covered countless fall trends and my fall essentials. If you’re a little late on updating your shoe game like me, here are the only three major boot trends that matter right now.
Knee High Boots
I will always have a soft spot for ankle and over the knee boots, but I am glad they got an update this season with a knee-high shaft. I never imagined saying this so soon, but it’s a great excuse to bring out your old skinny jeans and leggings. Pants aside, it adds a unique proportional element that piques interest. As you can see, I am a fan and feel that it’s 100% worth splurging on.
Love it or hate it, cowboy boots are stealing the show this season. I couldn’t tell you how many of them I spotted during fashion week because the streets were inundated with them. If you’re looking to add a bit of edginess to your skirts or dresses, the cowboy boot is perfect. And if you’re just looking for new footwear trends to try, pair them with cropped jeans.
Last but not least, snake print boots are a clear must have. If you’re not prone to color or prints in your wardrobe, python boots are the best way to get started this season. With various heel and shaft heights, you’re bound to find a silhouette that suits you. Not sure how to style it? Jeans with a chunky sweater of course is a foolproof combo.
