#FrillSeeker Recap

Last weekend, I was whisked away (along with my sister-friends Pam Hetlinger & Lisa Dengler) on a surprise trip with one of my new favorite brands, Frilly! Not even kidding, we had NO idea where we were going. The only hint they gave us was: the travel time was 6 hours. I genuinely thought we were hopping on a plane, and flying somewhere! To my surprise, we ended up road tripping down south (first to In-N-Out and then) to Encuentro Guadalupe in the Guadalupe Valley of Mexico! If you ever get a chance for a getaway, you must go here! The eco-friendly Encuentro Guadalupe is where earth meets modern architecture. Thus leaving the feeling of clean, fresh, and magical vibes. (Also, the food and the wine in Encuentro Guadalupe was ridiculously delicious!) I cannot thank Frilly enough for taking me to such a special place!

There are too many good things I could say about the brand: Frilly. This innovative and creative company was founded in 2014, and has definitely made a name for themselves by bringing back the made-to-order way of clothing. Fashion is not a one style fits all formula. Why would it be? We are all different shapes and sizes along with having different personalities and preferences. Frilly is the definition of an alternative to cookie-cutter mass produced pieces that celebrates style and individual expression. I cannot be more thrilled to have worked with such an innovative brand thats mission is to help you be YOU!

I know what you’re thinking.. how in the world did I decide to pack what I packed for a surprise trip? Frilly (so graciously) let me design 7 outfits in total for the weekend away. What what! It was so fun. I probably spent a good 5 hours on their website narrowing down all of the customized pieces I had created. They seriously let you customize the fabric, color, texture, bodice, hem, pockets or no pockets, neckline, etc. I felt as if I was a fashion designer! I curated so many looks (while not knowing what weather to even pack for), and had to narrow down to my faves to wear to this mystery destination. Even when you though the customization was over, over the course of the weekend away with Frilly, they continued to have us choose our own adventure by giving us two options to pick from every day. One day they had us choose “hang back” or “horseback” – we obviously chose horseback and got to go horseback riding and have lunch by the water at a place called Cuatro Cuatros. We even shot photos of our own personal looks by this beautiful tree called Bruma Vinicola. It was amazing to see how Pam, Lisa, and myself designed our own similar yet different pieces from the same company that accentuated our own individual personalities. The pieces varied from long jackets to cropped jackets to chic trousers to plaid mini skirts. Their website is truly my new addiction. Team TS is already on it with ordering pieces for themselves.

It is so amazing that Frilly not only let us customize multiple outfits, but also customize our weekend away in Mexico! There was truly never a dull moment. They took their motto “design your own story” to a new level with this perfect weekend away! Elevate and personalize your own wardrobe Frilly today! Seriously, they have an option to do a free-trial, and design a piece. If you do not like it after 7 days of receiving it, they will not charge your card. How amazing is that?!

Hi Tania! Wow, that sounds like a super nice trip. So fun how you got to pick out and wear clothes from Frilly. The pictures of the landscape is breathtaking. That part of Mexico looks just beautiful as the place blends into the landscapes. You’re photography is on point too! Thanks for the inspiration.
