Today I woke up around 7:30, made my Armenian coffee and went for my morning run for 25 min. I decided to explore Venice with my best friend, Carina, who is an interior designer to find some cool new pieces for my new home. For a chill day of exploring, I knew I had to throw on something comfortable. It was a bit chilly out so I decided to wear my TOPSHOP burgundy turtleneck, I LOVE A POP OF COLOR, skinny black jeans, a grey coat and velvet booties. I really am loving the turtleneck trend and with just one sweater I was able to embody that style effortlessly. Pairing this light grey coat with the texture of the velvet from the boots created contrast and made staple pieces look put together. We headed over to Venice around 10 am. We shopped at a ton of great stores, and visited one of my favorite urban outdoor living stores called lDV. I was so happy we had made our way over there because I discovered the CUTEST succulents and outdoor furniture, perfect for the concept I was going for.
After spending the entire day in Venice, exploring the city, Carina and I were starving and decided to meet my westside gfs at a sushi bar on Abbott Kinney. We stopped by my place to freshen up and I decided to dress up my current look for the evening. I threw on a TOPSHOP studded skirt and knee highs and left the burgundy turtleneck on for a sexy and fun girls night out look. It’s amazing that only changing a few key pieces can completely transform a look. The sushi bar we went to has the cutest floral wall by the bar- super instagram worthy! We ended up catching up, eating amazing sushi, and taking so many snapchats I think the bartender was over us. haha I had a great time with the girls and got a ton of compliments on my outfit. I just love the fact that the sweater was so versatile and was able to transition from day to night so easily. The suede knee boots elevated the look and elongated my legs, which is always a plus! 😉
