How to take your LBD to the next level

There are many staple items a gal must have in there closet at all times, but number one on their list is owning a LBD (little black dress). If you do not have one, you must get on that! Perfect for every occasion, and can be easily dressed up or dressed down. How can you argue against that?

One of my fave LBD’s is my Isabel Marant cut out and layered dress. I can simply wear it out alone for the day with my slip on sandals, or I can take it to the next level with the right accessories and complimenting pieces. I decided to wear my go-to mesh top from Emory Park (similar here)under the dress. At first, I was a bit hesitant, but once taking a good look at it, I fell in love with my LBD all over again! It was the same ol’ LBD that had been elevated by the mesh layer. At first, I put on my Via Spiga white boots with it to dress up the look, but then decided on wearing the same pair but in black. Truth be told, I couldn’t fit both pairs in my suitcase to NYC, and decided on the black since I could wear them with different outfits. I am also dying for the pair of maroon ones they have. To finish the look, I wore my Acne sunglasses from Net-A-Porter, and my Okhtein bag. This bag is truly amazing, and feels one-of-a-kind. I recently discovered this brand, and I love how they blend Egyptian artistry with new world trends while maintaining the authenticity of the culture. They incorporate handmade straw and embroidery into each one of their bags. Talk about TLC to each one of these bags.
