There’s no denying that basic black ankle boots will always be one of my favorite styles. But if you’re ready to level up your winter outfits for 2019, there are 3 new footwear trends to be on the lookout for. Since shoes can completely make or break your look, I’ve partnered with CHARLES & KEITH today to share what they are. I love CHARLES & KEITH because it designs shoes that are on trend and wearable but don’t break the bank. The ones featured below are my favorites!
LACE UP
Lace up boots have been on my radar all season long. I’m such a fan of this boot style because it elongates the legs and is so easy to dress up or down. Its vintage appeal is a fun way to mix modern, menswear pieces with vintage trends like my plaid coat.
SQUARE TOE
My favorite shoe style and color is generally black, so I love going for a shoe that is classic and a bit minimal. That’s where these square toe boots come into play. I paired them with plaid palazzo pants, but I can see how stunning they would look with a midi skirt or dress. The vintage button details add the perfect amount of femininity to it.
LOAFER DETAIL BOOTS
These loafer detail boots are perfect for a cool, elevated menswear inspired look that is clean with an edge. The flat style makes them so easy to wear for any occasion. I opted for burgundy to add a pop of color and contrast to my everyday outfits. But in this look, I decided to dress them up a bit and pair them with a blazer, wide leg trousers, and a turtleneck.
Which of these looks is your favorite?
